HOG Culture Clash 2026 | Charlie vs. Shotzi Blackheart

April 16, 2026. Pearl Theater at Palms Casino Resort. Las Vegas, Nevada. House of Glory: Las Vegas Culture Clash 2026. It had been a little over a month since Charlie returned to pro wrestling, giving Kris Statlander a fight of fights. Charlie’s second match back saw her challenge an old adversary, House of Glory’s Women’s World Champion Shotzi Blackheart. They had a storied history in their past life. A rivalry that saw cruel words exchanged along with brutal clashes across the singles and tag team ranks. Would such hostilities be reignited? Or would they begin a new chapter of shared history on a more respectful note?

Where as Charlie took time to rest herself after her past life as Dakota Kai ended, Shotzi quickly returned to the ring, earning herself the mantle Indy God. And she’s even crazier than she was when Charlie and her first clashed in a Gauntlet Match on April 1, 2020. This match would mark only the second time they have met one on one in the ring. And for Charlie another chance to win her first singles pro wrestling championship since October 2015.

The crowd was split from the start. They traded takedowns out of lockups. Charlie snapmared Shotzi to the canvas, setting her up for a PK. Shotzi evaded, catching Charlie with a roll up for one. After some back and forth, Shotzi grounded Charlie with a middle rope missile dropkick, sending The Captain of Team Kick all the way to the opposite side of the ring. As Charlie came to it, Shotzi area coded her with a tiger feint kick. Charlie evaded Shotzi’s top rope offense, Blackheart rolling through only for Charlie to bring her to the canvas with a jump up snapmare.

Charlie charged Shotzi, using her shoulders to spring herself up to deliver a double knees to the chest. As Shotzi used the ropes to get to her feet, Charlie slid to the floor tripping Shotzi in the process, twirling her around for a pump kick. As Charlie reentered the ring, Shotzi caught her with a knee strike, flipping her inside out hard onto her back the rest of the way in. Blackheart kept focus on the back, snap suplexing Charlie back first into the turnbuckles. Charlie slumped against the ropes, prone to Shotzi’s maddening cannonball.

Shotzi Irish whipped Charlie back first hard to the opposite corner. Charlie got her feet up to block Shotzi’s charge, however Blackheart caught them and slammed Charlie back first to the canvas into a cloverleaf. With much of the crowd rallying her on, Charlie fought through the pain to reach the ropes, forcing Shotzi to break the hold. Shotzi caught Charlie with a waffling kick to the head, immediately wrapping her legs around Charlie’s neck and choking her while Charlie was caught on the ropes. After being forced to break before five, Shotzi applied a chinlock to continue putting pressure on Charlie’s head and neck.

Charlie powered her way to her feet with momentum from the crowd, but Shotzi halted anything further with a knee to the gut. Shotzi charged at Charlie who was in the corner. Charlie used the ropes to leverage herself up and evade, rolling over Shotzi to roll her up for two. Furious blows. Two clotheslines. The charging Yakuza Kick. BANG! The running facewash. A Bayley to Belly suplex dinging for two. The scorpion kick sent Shotzi loopy to the apron. Charlie charged, Shotzi cutting her off with a rope assisted step up kick.

In a brutal throwback to a past match, Shotzi dropped off the apron, in the process spiking Charlie’s head to the hardest part of the ring with a DDT. Blackheart kept up the brutality, sending Charlie head and back first to the steel crowd barrier with a tope through the ropes. Shotzi tossed Charlie back into the ring, but as she made her own way back in, Charlie smashed her head to the canvas with a rope assisted curb stomp. The Kairopractor got her two. Charlie lifted Shotzi onto her shoulders, looking to finish her with Go to Kick. Shotzi fought off, grounding Charlie face first with a slingblade bulldog.

Charlie caught a charging Shotzi in the corner with a rope assisted double stomp, rolling herself to the opposite corner to set up another Yakuza Kick. Fatigue starting to set in from the fast, furious pace resulted in it not being overly effective. On her second attempt, Shotzi cut her off with a Liger Kick. The impact kept both down, Shotzi unable to go for a pin. Both women used the ropes to get to their feet. They met in the center, slugging it out. Shotzi got Charlie with a back suplex. Charlie popped right back up, eating it down like her favorite fucking Chipotle order. Shotzi was in disbelief, smashed to the canvas with a uranage backbreaker.

Shotzi rolled to the corner, avoiding a cover. Charlie came at Shotzi, struck with a defensive kick. Shotzi got herself up on the second rope. Charlie got her with a rope assisted gamengiri, sitting her forcefully on the top rope, then made her own way up to the second rope, unloading open hand shots. Shotzi sent her down hard to the canvas with a headbutt. Hoping to put Charlie away, Shotzi landed her signature Senton Bomb from the top rope. Shotzi laid back on top Charlie, thinking she had victory in the bag. BUT NO. Charlie rolled the overconfident Shotzi up with a crucifix for a very close to three two count. Your Chronicler’s heart was POUNDING, POUNDING I tell you. SO CLOSE, yet so far.

As Charlie mustered herself, a startled Shotzi scurried to the opposite corner letting out a maddening scream. Shotzi’s startle turned to rage. Charlie’s eyes locked firmly on Shotzi, her passion to win her first singles championship since October 2015 engulfing her heart with one last hope. But Charlie’s body told her a cruel no, leaving Charlie prone to a sickening variant of the switchblade kick. Charlie crumpled to the canvas. Shotzi made the cover. 1-2-3. And still HOG Women’s World Champion Shotzi Blackheart.

As they made their way to the back, Shotzi raised Charlie’s hand to show her respect. Charlie pointed fondly at Shotzi, giving her respect back. Even more respect was shown as Shotzi took to the ground to shower Charlie with praise. Charlie did the same. They shared a good natured laugh as they tried to one up each other with the praise showering. Charlie put her arm around Shotzi and Shotzi put hers around Charlie’s, walking to the back together. What was once a cruel rivalry between them was no longer such. There was now mutual respect and admiration after this brutal, competitive match. As for her future, Charlie’s fighting heart proved her best is yet to come.
