December 9th 2022. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. PPG Paints Arena. SmackDown. I chronicle both Tales so last week's reigniting of battle between Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai ripped my soul in two. Now to make me feel worse: Tegan Nox and Liv Morgan face The Murderers' Row of Friday Night better known as SmackDown Women's Champion Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. Some years ago, Nox and Baszler were part of a Sisterhood of the Bum Bag alongside Kay Lee Ray for one night only in Stardom. That bond is ancient history of ancient history.

Prior to the December 9th 2022 episode of SmackDown, Shanya's scheduled opponent Shotzi got injured... presumably by Ronda and Shayna. Tegan and Liv approached The Horsewomen to make note of their dominance including tag team victories. But there was a team they hadn't beaten or even faced. The new team of Tegan Nox and Liv Morgan. Ronda and Shayna claimed they were a bull ready to enter a china shop. Nox and Morgan were ready to enter the proverbial china shop and get their matador on. Shayna warned: "Mess with the bull, get the horns."

Liv Morgan remarked she likes horn. Well, she does have a thing for farms. Nox chuckled along. It was fun and games for the moment. But that would not be the case later on. Welcome back to WWE, Tegan Nox. Straight into the fire... or in this case Murderers' Row. In a vignette prior to the match, Nox reminded everyone she's overcome injuries and betrayals but never gave up and kept fighting. She choose to side with Liv because she's known her since her first day at the WWE Performance Center and they both take nothing for granted and do what it takes to win.

Nox wasted no time in reintroducing herself, starting the match for her team against Baszler with some fine technique. Shayna shot back with rough housing in the corner. Nox rubbed it back in Shayna's face. Armdrags from Nox. Shayna reversed a whip to the corner. Nox rolled over her during a charge, firing back with a running uppercut and rope assisted enzuigiri. She kept the offense coming, hurling herself at Baszler like a wild boar with the cannonball. Nox went to the top rope only for Shayna to cut her off with a rope assisted enzuigiri of her own.

Ronda tagged in and pummeled Nox while taunting Morgan. Nox rolled Ronda up but Rousey kicked out. Rousey applied the anklelock but Nox outwrestled her, sending Ronda into the corner to break the hold. Nox made the tag to Morgan as Ronda made one to Shayna. Liv hit Shayna with dropkicks and a rope assisted stomp. Shayna snatched back control tossing Liv over her head with a German suplex. Ronda took her eyes off the prize, distracted by the easily distracted one Raquel Rodriguez who was held back by officials as she made her way down to seek revenge on Rousey for injuring her friend Shotzi.

The referee turned her attention to the chaos outside the ring. Morgan and Nox did as Nox promised in the vignette: Doing whatever it took to secure the victory. Morgan evaded the Kirifuda Clutch with a jawbreaker. Tegan snuck in and struck Baszler with the Shiniest Wizard. Morgan covered The Queen of Spades to secure the victory for her team. Not only was it a victory over Shayna and the SmackDown Women's Champion, Tegan had a chance to get some revenge for her fellow Lady Wizardball Shotzi.

This wasn't announced as a number one contendership match to decide whose next to face WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. But there aren't any other main roster teams left to challenge the champions. Damage CTRL versus The Horsewomen would be interesting because this Dakota would take no shit from her once tormentor. This Dakota would slap Shayna so silly that Baszler would go home and think Kai was sitting on her couch playing video games. But per their win over The Horsewomen, Tegan and Liv have earned their shot.

Nox and Morgan would return to the ring following the broadcast to participate in Kurt Angle's Birthday Celebration. They joined Rey Mysterio and others in not only singing Happy Birthday but a You Suck Chant! Only in the wild world of pro-wrestling would that be a compliment. But Nox and Morgan weren't done for the night. They would be interviewed for the December 10th 2022 episode of The SmackDown Lowdown.

Megan Morant called Nox and Morgan the newest, most stylish tag team in WWE. Speaking of fashion, for her entrance earlier in the night Morgan was wearing a ring jacket inspired by the Dakota Kai November 2021 Line. Nox and Morgan made it clear they are ready for their title match against Dakota and IYO next Friday. Tegan pointed out she knows "Dakotski" all too well. Morgan promised to have Nox's back next week like she had hers, vowing they will become the shiniest new champions. Nox added: "The Shiniest Tag Team to Liv."

Friday Night December 16th 2022. Allstate Arena. Chicago. SmackDown. Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox will wage war in the same venue their war began on November 23rd 2019. This time it's for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox challenge IYO SKY and Dakota Kai. Will the war between Kai and Nox finally come to an end? You know, maybe to move on and eventually have a clean slate they need to beat the living piss out of each other. They will on Friday Night December 16th 2022 when they fight again where their fight began.
