January 13th 2023. Green Bay, Wisconsin. Resch Center. SmackDown. Tegan Nox looked to fulfill her New Year's Resolution and handle some Xia Li business. You know the story that led here. If you're just tuning in, check out the previous Chapter 9 entries. Tegan caught Xia in a waistlock as they came center ring to lock up. Xia tried to reverse to a headlock but got pushed off for her efforts. Nox unleashed a flurry of right hands followed by an uppercut that toppled Xia to the canvas. The gourdbuster. A charging cannonball in the corner. Tegan was on fire.

Nox climbed to the top rope for a crossbody but Xia cut her off. Xia grabbed Nox by the head and tossed her down to the canvas. Li covered Nox who kicked out at two. Xia pulled Nox into a chinlock to wear her down. Nox's first reverse effort was foiled but on her second try, Tegan maneuvered to her feet and successfully flipped Xia over her head. It was a hollow victory though as Xia cut off Nox's offense with a throat thrust. A pump kick slumped Nox against the turnbuckles where Xia charged up and rung Tegan with a spike elbow.

Tegan fought back with strikes but Xia won the exchange tossing Nox with an exploder suplex. Xia was primed to hit the cyclone kick which had defeated Nox in the Gauntlet Match on the December 23rd 2022 SmackDown. This time, Nox saw it coming and evaded. Tegan fired back, shining Xia up with The World's Shiniest Wizard to keep her down for a pinfall victory. It was a good start to 2023 for Tegan Nox getting her first televised singles match win since her return.

In a post-match WWE Digital Exclusive, Nox didn't mince her words. She called her victory over Xia Li: Bloody Beautiful. It's January 13th and she's fulfilled her New Year's Resolution but welcomes adding more names to said resolution. Tegan declared she's no longer Mr. Nice Guy. She's here to kick ass, take no prisoners and win by any means necessary. Nox finished, reminding everyone she's Welsh and Welsh folk love beating people up. The Women's Division better be prepared to get Shined Up and Crossed Off. Tegan's ready to pull hair from a nose.
