September 8, 2020. NXT Television entered The Gargano Household. Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano had the dinner table ready, awaiting their guest Tegan Nox. The Poison Pixie asked her husband to trust her and be on his best behavior since she wanted to reconcile with Nox. Johnny put on a false smile to greet Nox, berating her for that pizza incident back in May. Nox swiftly offered her apologies only for Johnny to laugh his remark off as a jape. Up top, down low, too slow and they were off to the dinner table. Nox was uncertain if to trust Johnny's "kindness".

Candice gave Nox a disingenuous embrace before they all sat down for dinner. It was time to talk things out for Candice and Nox... with Johnny present. Or not. He would take his leave a bit aggravated when both made it clear his presence made this awkward. Could sending Johnny upstairs to finish his dinner have been a sign that Candice actually wanted to reconcile with Nox?

Nah. Candice told Nox that she had to fess up to her mistakes and said nothing of her own. Nox reminded Candice it was her who betrayed her not the other way around. Candice insisted the problem between them was Nox just didn't understand The Gargano Way and that she was a new person because of it. She mused if Tegan was upset because she was in fact not part of it.

Nox responded firmly she didn't like The Gargano Way and blamed Johnny for changing his wife. Candice strongly objected, saying this was just another side of her. Nox didn't buy it because the old Candice cared about people unlike this person she had become. Candice reminded Nox that as her "big sister" she always had her back and never took her down any bad paths. Why would this be any different, Candice questioned Nox. What did Nox have to loose?

It looked for a moment like Nox might have been buying the nonsense. Candice wanted to toast to the next NXT Women's Champion: Her. Nox took umbrage with that, asking Candice what made her think it wouldn't instead be her? Candice laughed that Nox had her shot and tried but lost. Now it was her turn. Nox pointed out Candice had never beaten Io either. That was it for Candice. She tossed the salad bowl at Nox who retaliated drenching Candice with a glass of water. Candice and Tegan stood up as The Poison Pixie accosted Nox for acting the way she was acting under her roof.

Johnny stormed down the stairs and pointed the finger at Nox, calling her a horrible person after she said Candice took things to an aggressive place. Nox was called a bad friend by Johnny. She literally said fuck you to him and poured a bowl of spaghetti over his head. Candice tossed a salt and pepper shaker at Nox as she headed toward the door to leave. Nox ducked and the shaker left a dent in the television. Candice chased after Nox to no avail while Johnny stayed behind to moan over his prized television being ruined.
