On Tuesday, what was intended as a light-hearted play on words celebrating the bond between Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize, was written in both a post on this X feed and the recap of their June 28, 2025 match. I’ve since removed it from the recap because upon reflection, regardless of the good intentions I feel it was still inappropriate for me as a fan to say. Likewise, making a quip about drowning sorrows in alcohol in the X post was in poor taste.
